Housing/Resident Information

Smoke-Free indoors and outdoors

Total number of buildings/units: 12 buildings with 565 units plus 7 individual condominiums (4 locations)

Number of smoke-free buildings/units: 8 buildings, 306 units (all remaining bldgs/units will go smoke-free in 2012)

Number of smoking residents “Grandfathered” into smoke-free housing: None

Subsidized-Housing: All buildings/units are subsidized in one form or another. Many fit into several categories below. I will put them in the
one the best fits the type of housing.

Market Rate-Housing: See Independence Plaza under Senior Housing.

Mixed Rents: See Independence Plaza under Senior Housing.

Apartments:

China Clipper Plaza is a 26-unit building for low-income families. It is 100% smoke free.

Eagle Village is a 42-unit family complex consisting of 9 buildings (each with between 3 and 10 units). All residents
have Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) assistance. It will go 100% smoke free in 2012.

Esperanza is a 120-unit family complex with 22 buildings (primarily townhouse in style though there are some one
bedroom units on a single floor, either 1st or 2nd floor). All units have either Section 8 Project-based (PBV) or HCV
assistance. One unit is occupied by the Resident Manager. It will go 100% smoke free in 2012.

Lincoln House is a 4-unit building for low-income families. It is 100% smoke free.

Parrot Gardens is a mix of single family homes and a duplex for 7 buildings in total and 8 units. All units are occupied
by HCV holders. This complex will go 100% smoke free in 2012.

Rosefield Village is a complex of 13 buildings and 46 units. The buildings range in size from a single family house to
a townhouse-style building with 7 units. All tenants have HCV assistance. This complex will go 100% smoke free in
2012.

Stanford House is a 4-unit building for low-income families. It is 100% smoke free.

Sherman Street is a 9-unit building for low-income families. It is 100% smoke free.

Condos:

Senior Condos is the name we attach to 7 condominium units for very-low income seniors. All units (4 locations) are
100% smoke free.

Senior Housing:

Anne B. Diament Plaza is a 65-unit senior building. It has PBV assistance attached to nearly all units. There is one
unit for the manager and three units are occupied by Section 8 HCV holders. This building/units are 100% smoke free.

Independence Plaza is a 186-unit senior complex made up of 5 buildings. It has two rent levels for the affordable units,
one for extremely low-income and one for low-income. There also is a third market-rate rent level. These buildings /
units are 100% smoke free.

Lincoln/Willow is a 5-unit building for low-income seniors. Units have either Section 8 PBV or HCV assistance. The
building/units are 100% smoke free.

Duplexes:

Parrot Village is a complex with 25 buildings with 50 units (duplexes) for families. All units have either PBV or HCV
assistance attached. This complex will go 100% smoke free in 2012.
